Aloo tikki









4 Potato
2 Green chili
1/4 tsp Red chili Powder
2 tbsp Semolina (Rava)
4 tbsp Bread crumbs (or Rava)
1/4 tsp Jeera Powder (optional)
Coriander Leaves
1 tsp Lemon Juice
Salt

Boil Potato and smash it only after cooling down.

Mix all ingredients and  Shape all the cutlets similarly and rest them in fridge for another 15-20 minutes to firm up.
Cook for 5 mins each side .

Paneer Paratha

200 gram Paneer Grated
Half onion finely chopped
2 green chilie finely chopped
1tsp finely grated Ginger
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1tsp Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp red chilie powder
Handful of Coriander leaves
Salt as needed

Transfer  all ingredients in bowl and mix well.

Rasam Powder


2 Tbsp Coriander seeds
1Tbsp Toor dal
1 tbsp Chana Dal
1 Tbsp Pepper  powder
1 Tbsp Jeera
2 Dry Red Chili

Cauli flower Paratha

1 medium sized cauliflower  grated
1 medium sized onion finely chopped
1tsp finely chopped green chili
1tsp finely chopped ginger
1/2tsp coriander powder
Juice of half lemon
Handful of chopped coriander

Roast all ingredients and stuff in chapati...


Coconut Peanut chutney

1/2 cup coconut
1/4 cup roasted peanut
4-5 cloves of garlic
2 dry red chilie(spicy ones)
small piece of tamarind
Salt

4cup Mangoes chopped
2tsp Chilie Powder
2tsp Kashmiri chilie Powder

Parippu Vada


1-1 1/4 cup of Chana Dal(( kadalaparippu)
3-4 dry red chillies
Small piece of ginger, minced
Few  shallots or (use onion if not available )
1/4 tsp Fennel seeds
Curry leaves
Salt to taste(3/4 tsp)
Oil

Soak Chana Dal  for 2-3 hours .Crush chana dal in mixie using the pulse button and trasfer to a bowl.Crush all other ingredients also.Now  squeeze out excess water from the crushed onion mix and add to the chana dal.Mix properly and add enough salt.Now make small balls  with wet hand and fry.Enjoy with hot tea.

wheat dosa



1.5 cup Atta
1/4 cup sooji
1/2 cup curd
1.25 cup water
Salt

Mix all ingredients without any lumps and start making dosa.Enjoy with your fav chutney.

Amma spl chicken curry

1/2 kg Chicken half onion
3tbsp coriander seeds
8  red chilie (spicy ones)
1/2 tsp Jeera
1 tsp Pepper corns

Ingredients
2Cup Redrice (Kerala Matta Rice)
3/4 cup coconut
100gram Jaggery

Directions
Wash  rice well and drain off all the water.
Dry roast rice on low flame for 15 – 20 minutes by stirring continuously till it turns crispy.
Let it cool down and grind it into  fine powder.
Blend coconut and jaggery  in a blender and add to rice powder.
Now mix well the mixture and make balls.
If you are not able to make balls add 1tsp ghee and try again.

Home made curd





1/2 litre Milk
1Tbsp curd(starter)


Heat the milk.
Once the milk starts boil reduce the flame and simmer for 15-20mins.
After 20mins switch off the flame and let it cool.
Once the temperature of the milk reaches lukewarm add curd to the milk and mix well.
Now, leave for the curd to set in a warm place for 5-8 hours 

Apple Banana Milkshake



1 Apple
1 Banana
1cup milk
1Tbsp Honey (Optional).
4-6 Dates
2tbsp nuts(Peanut,Cashewnuts or Soaked Almonds).

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until creamy and smooth.
Pour into glasses and serve.
