Refer Swapnas currry world and Salu kitchen
Dont add Tomato (if adding dnt saute add to the ground paste )
Do not add perumjeerakam also
Add Pinch of garam masala at hte end.
1 Cup chickpeas
1 Onion half cook with kadala (another half for thalikal)
Green Chili
2-3 Garlic
1/2 Cup grated coconut
1/2 Tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
1tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1.5 tsp Coriander Powder
curry leaves
salt

Saute all powders seperately and grind with coconut.(Do not roast coconut very dark)
Turmeric pepper,Chili powder ,Coriander powder
Pepper Powder,Garam masala ,roasted fenugreek powder
Cook kadala with salt and half onion .Wait for steam and cook for 5 whistles in low flame.
Heat 1 tsp oil and add fennel seed then add coconut and fry till golden brown. (Do not roast coconut very dark and also Immediately transfer to mixi.)
Saute all powders seperately and add to the thenga and powder it.Add powder to the cooked kadala and boil it .
Finally thalikal with onion and curry leaves.
