Parippu Vada


1-1 1/4 cup of Chana Dal(( kadalaparippu)
3-4 dry red chillies
Small piece of ginger, minced
Few  shallots or (use onion if not available )
1/4 tsp Fennel seeds
Curry leaves
Salt to taste(3/4 tsp)
Oil

Soak Chana Dal  for 2-3 hours .Crush chana dal in mixie using the pulse button and trasfer to a bowl.Crush all other ingredients also.Now  squeeze out excess water from the crushed onion mix and add to the chana dal.Mix properly and add enough salt.Now make small balls  with wet hand and fry.Enjoy with hot tea.
